7 Night - 8 Days Meghalaya Tour

Arise to a beautiful view and enjoy a cup of morning tea. Your Meghalaya cycling tour will officially begin today. Today, the maximum ride will be uphill with a few short downhill stretches. Enjoy the views of waterfalls in between and continue riding to Jiva Resort, Nongpoh (nearly 40 km from the starting point). In the evening, enjoy a bonfire at the campsite. Spend a comfortable night in Umbir.

Wake up and enjoy morning tea. Check out and proceed towards your next destination, Cherrapunji. Known for its living root bridges and waterfalls, Cherrapunji is a beautiful place to visit in Meghalaya. Start cycling towards Cherrapunji and enjoy the beauty all around. On arrival, check-in the homestay/guest house and retire for the day. Enjoy a comfortable overnight sleep.

Start day 4 of the cycling tour in Meghalaya from Guwahati with a hearty breakfast. Start your journey from Tyrna Village to the Double Decker Root Bridge by trek. It is a 3000 steps climb to reach the root bridge but is totally worth it. Enjoy the surroundings and spend some time here and view the famous living root bridges. Later, return to the homestay/ guest house in Cherrapunji to enjoy a restful sleep.

After a strenuous day, come back to the hotel for a goodnight’s sleep followed by a tasty dinner.

Arise to a wholesome meal, check out, and proceed to your next destination, Mawlynnong. It is also called ‘God’s Own Garden’ and has been awarded the title of the ‘cleanest village in Asia’ by Discover India in 2003. Once reached, check in to a homestay in a village and slip under the blankets for a comfortable sleep.

After a delicious breakfast, wave goodbye to the homestay and head towards Dawki. En route, relish the beautiful views around you. Once arrived at the camping site set along the banks of the Umngot river, relax for some time. In the evening, enjoy a bonfire at the campsite before dozing off.

On day 7 on your Meghalaya cycling package, savor breakfast and check out. Today, you will get transferred from Dawki to Shillong by vehicle. Once reached, check-in at the hotel/ guest house and enjoy a sound sleep.

On day 8 of our Meghalaya cycling tour package, you will proceed towards the last destination, Guwahati. On the way down to Guwahati, admire the breathtaking landscapes. Upon reaching, check-in the hotel/ guest house and retire for the day. Spend a comfortable overnight stay in the hotel.
